CTA (call-to-action) buttons are a useful way to encourage your users to take one or more specific actions.

You can add one to three button links within a single CTA Button paragraph, and they can be placed in the body region and/or below content region on Landing Pages and Inside Pages. The width of all buttons on the page will automatically adjust to the size of the button with the longest text.

Instructions for adding CTA buttons:

  1. Navigate to the oxy.edu page where you want to add call-to-action buttons and click "Edit." (Follow these steps if you don't see the edit button)
  2. To add the buttons to the Body section of your page, scroll down to the "body paragraphs" section beneath the body field.
    1. Select "CTA Buttons" from the paragraph type drop-down.
    2. Click the "Add new Paragraph" button.
    3. Proceed to step 4.
  3. To add the buttons to the Below Content section of your page, scroll down to the "Below Content" tab just beneath the body paragraphs section.
    1. Select "CTA Buttons" from the section type drop-down.
    2. Click the "Add new Section" button.
    3. Proceed to step 4.
  4. Enter the text for your button(s) in the Title field, and the click-through link in the URL field. Please remember to use the internal link format to link to any page on oxy.edu (view the tutorial on links for details). For links to external sites you can use the URL.
  5. Once you have finished editing your page click "Save."
