Study Abroad/DC Fall 2025
  • Applications open July 12, 2024.
  • Attend "Study Abroad 101" Information Session - Early September
  • Submit application by November 15, 2024 
  • Applications may not  be started after November 8, 2024
  • Candidates for Fall 2025 abroad will be notified in early February
 
Study Abroad/DC Spring 2026
  • Applications open January 8, 2025
  • Attend "Study Abroad 101" Information Session - Late January
  • Submit application by April 4, 2025 
  • Applications may not be started after March 28, 2025
  • Optional appointments starting 3rd week of semester: , ,
  • Candidates for Spring 2026 abroad will be notified by late May

Class of 2026 Deadline

Study Abroad/DC Spring 2025
  • Applications may not be started after 9/20.
  • Submit by September 27, 2024 at 11:59 pm
  • Carefully check eligibility requirements including language or area-studies prerequisites!  
  • Think deeply and research thoroughly to be able to answer these .

  • Stay open: that work best for your academic and personal development, as well as that, meets the college standards.

When applications exceed capacity, successful applicants may exhibit qualifications higher than the minimum requirements.

- Ability to read and follow instructions, meet deadlines, respond in a timely and professional manner to communication from program and college officials.

- Capacity to articulate a clear scholarly purpose, intercultural and intellectual goals and a well researched justification for the choice of program and location.

- An overall pattern of full-time enrollment (16 units) and at Â鶹ÊÓƵ in the semester prior to participation.

- Junior or senior status while abroad.

- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 at the time of application and in semesters between application and participation.

-  B grades in 3-5 courses in the intended or declared major courses and program prerequisites by the time of departure. 3.3 on UK, HK, NZ and Australia programs.

-  No incomplete grades at the time of application. 

 - No INC, NR, D, U or F grades the semester prior to participation.

 - Prerequisites of program sponsor may be higher than Â鶹ÊÓƵ¡¯s minimums. Check their websites.

- All published criteria of the specific program, such as language prerequisites.

- Neither on academic or disciplinary probation nor under investigation for violations which may result in probation between application and departure.

- All holds cleared with campus departments and offices before leaving campus.
