Students are responsible for knowing the following:

All students must abide by the official move in and out dates set by the College. These dates can be found each year within the official Academic Calendar that can be accessed on the Registrar's Office website. Additionally, Residential Education and Housing Services sends email notices to students in advance of every move out. Students will not be permitted to occupy a room prior to the official opening date or after the official closing date of any residence hall or house (excluding Toland Way properties.) Generally there are no exceptions to this policy, and students will need to identify alternative housing arrangements off-campus.  Students with extreme extenuating circumstances or hardships should contact Residential Education and Housing Services well in advance to explore options available.

Students who are found occupying a room during an unauthorized period will be referred to the Office of Student Conduct and incur a $100/day fine for every day they have occupied a room without explicit written permission from Residential Education and Housing Services.

Students who fail to move out of their room by the move out deadline will be assessed a late checkout fee.
