Loren is an award-winning jazz vocalist and composer whose artistry was cultivated in Downey, CA. Her early exposure to gospel, jazz, R&B, and pop, contributes to her unique singing and songwriting style. With an Associate of Professional Music degree from the world renowned School for Music Vocations, founded by Phil Mattson, and a Bachelor of Jazz Studies degree from the prestigious Western Michigan University, Loren has been a member of Downbeat-award winning groups such as First Take, Mas Que Nada, and Gold Company. She has performed alongside Dianne Reeves, Kurt Elling, Mark Murphy, Roger Treece, The Real Group, The New York Voices, and M-Pact.

Loren has been a guest educator, clinician, and performer at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, The School for Music Vocation's vocal jazz camps, The Keith Hall Summer Drum Intensive, and numerous jazz festivals. She has recently returned to the Los Angeles area where she frequently clinics local high school vocal jazz programs and teaches private lessons. Through her ample performance and education experiences, Loren has acquired the tools to give back to the community by reaching out to those who have a desire to learn music. Her goal when performing is to bring the audience along with her on a unique and memorable artistic journey.
