Renowned Author and Social Justice Commentator to Teach at Occidental

January 25: Through Occidental’s inaugural Presidential Professorship, writer and social justice activist Roxane Gay will teach courses at the College during the Spring 2022 semester.

Eight Join the Board of Trustees

August 1: The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Board of Trustees has elected seven new members and recognized the valued service of two members who have stepped down from the board. An eighth member automatically joined the board upon being elected president of Occidental's Alumni Board of Governors.


2022-23 Barack Obama Scholars Selected for Re-Imagined Program

June 29: Â鶹ÊÓƵ has announced its 2022-23 cohort of Barack Obama Scholars, the prestigious leadership training program that has been re-imagined to make it available to more students based on their undergraduate performance and interests.


Â鶹ÊÓƵ Unveils Three New and Newly Renovated Campus Spaces

February 24: Take a photographic tour of three beautiful and functional spaces on campus: the Fletcher Jones Foundation Computing Classroom, the Percussion Studio and Sycamore Glen.
