The Barry Goldwater Scholarship offers undergraduate funding to support sophomores and juniors studying natural sciences, engineering, and mathematics who show promise as future research leaders.

Purpose:
The offers undergraduate funding to support sophomores and juniors studying natural sciences, engineering, and mathematics who show promise as future research leaders.
Eligibility:
In order to apply, an applicant must:
- be enrolled as a sophomore or junior
- intend to pursue a research career in the natural sciences, engineering, or mathematics
- have a GPA of at least 3.0
- be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Â鶹ÊÓƵ application process:
Â鶹ÊÓƵ may nominate up to six (6) candidates for the Goldwater Scholarship if we have both a transfer student and a U.S. Veteran. (i.e., the fifth and sixth nominees cannot be two transfer students or two U.S. Veterans). Applicants must submit a by October 4, 2024 to be considered for nomination.
