Resident Professor Laural Meade created the piece for herself and a jazz pianist, inspired by the risqué music and humor of vaudeville great Sophie Tucker. They are currently performing as part of an artist residency at the LA LGBT Center, after playing a year-long monthly engagement at the historic Gardenia Supper Club. And you're invited!Â
