Max Foreman is a composer, songwriter and audio engineer from San Francisco, CA, having taught at Occidental since 2020, assuming the role of Director of the Choi Family Music Production Center in 2021. As a songwriter, Foreman released his debut record Underground in 2021. As performer in the bands Bouquet and Tenebre, Foreman has performed opening for artists such as Gilian Welch, Fiona Apple and Will Oldham. As cowriter in Bouquet, Foreman’s writing credits are featured on Transparent (Amazon Studios), Shameless (Showtime), Good Girls (NBC) and numerous other film and television placements. Since 2003, he has worked prolifically as a studio engineer and front of house mixing engineer on the West Coast.
